June of 2020: I found myself at my highest weight and in a demanding career.  I was tired and frustrated from chasing fad diets, juice cleanses, and the 1200-calorie limit. Not knowing what was real and what was just silliness was exhausting me.  As a Project Manager, it won’t surprise you that I turned to the research to try and help me solve my weight problem. But there was so much information out there, and I felt lost and paralyzed about what options to choose. I decided to invest in a coach, and joined a macro program.  I turned to macros because of my own vanity: we were planning the trip of a lifetime to Beijing with no return date planned, and I wanted to look good! I was desperate to find something that worked, and I’m so thankful I did. I fell in love with macro nutrition as all the pieces fell into place for me. I had found a way to enjoy ALL the food groups (including my favourite snacks), and still meet my goals.

I help women prioritize their nutrition to transform their relationship with food so they can live their best life feeling vibrant and confident in their body.

I help women prioritize their nutrition to transform their relationship with food so they can live their best life feeling confident in their body.

Create a life you deserve: one where you feel confident about your food choices and where you no longer view food as good or bad, but simply as fuel for your body.

Meal prepping really helps me and all my clients stay on track. I have kids in competitive sports and am the wife of a shift worker, so at times I feel like I am doing it alone. Meal prepping has become an essential building block for my healthy macro lifestyle as it really does help make dinners on the go that much easier! Check out my FREE downloadable Meal Prepping Guide here.

I'm a mom to two beautiful kids and the wife of a shift worker. Before I became a Macro Nutrition Coach, I was an IT Project Management Consultant. I did IT Project Management for over 20 years, and had a very successful consulting career. The majority of my projects were system implementations, and more recently managing divestitures and introducing robotics process automations for one of the largest utility companies in the country where I live. Maybe that’s too much jargon, but I hope it comes across that I loved this job. I especially enjoyed the relationships I built in the process. In fact, I loved the element of relationship building so much and I was so good at it that I was often called in as the “parachute PM” - someone who was "parachuted in" to "trouble" projects to get them back on track by building trusted relationships with project teams and clients. It was rewarding, but at the same time, it was extremely stressful. Looking back, I think one of my superpowers and the skill I am most thankful to have gained in my old life is relationship building, because I do genuinely care about positive and successful outcomes for my clients, even now.

I loved my new lifestyle and wanted to learn more about the science behind it. In 2021 I enrolled in a Macro Nutrition Coaching program (NASM, AFAA, and ISSA certified), and I launched my first beta group coaching program in September of 2021. I was doing all this while managing my full time consulting business and managing a large scale reno on our acreage.

My Story

My passion was no longer in project management, and up until that time I had been ignoring all the signs that I needed a change: the panic attacks, family advising me to change careers, and friends and co-workers coming to me for more information on macro nutrition. I finally listened, and the freedom and excitement I felt told me I had done the right thing!

I began having panic attacks in August of 2021, and they continued right up until December of the same year.

  • Helped me achieve my immediate goals! I have lost 25 lbs and over 15 inches, and kept it off.
  • Improved my relationship with food. I no longer view food as good/bad, healthy/unhealthy, but rather I look at how it makes me feel and how it fuels me. And, I no longer skip meals to "save up" for a big meal later or “make up” for eating too much.
  • Improved my overall health. I no longer restrict any food groups. Our bodies NEED carbs, fats, and protein. I’ve learned balance. I'd always hear "everything in moderation" but what does that even mean? Macro nutrition showed me.
  • Changed the way I view my workouts. I was a gym junkie before. I'd use cardio as a way to punish myself if I felt I had indulged over the weekend, or given in to too many treats during the week.
  • Given me hope for the future. My dad had a severe heart attack at age 64. That age is less than 20 years away for me, and knowing that I can make choices and put in some hard work today that will lead to a healthier tomorrow is empowering.
  • Built this confidence and passion inside me to mentor and guide other women who have struggled just like me.

The reason that I am so passionate about helping others achieve their goals through macros is because I’ve seen firsthand what it has done for ME!  My discovery of macro nutrition has literally changed the trajectory of my life. Macros have:
