Best Tasting Macro Friendly Protein Bars

Shar
xO,

I can’t wait to share the best tasting macro friendly protein bars with you!

But first I have a question…have you ever come home excited to try the new protein bars you purchased only to feel like you just wasted $ while you wash down the chalky aftertaste with a swig of water?  Yah – I’ve been there too.  I’d try to convince my mind that I liked the chalky bars because I thought they were “healthy” and “good for you”. That was until I discovered the best tasting macro friendly protein bars!

You don’t need to eat foods you don’t enjoy just because you think you HAVE to be eating those foods. Maybe that’s why your diet never stick?  You don’t know how to eat the foods you enjoy and still reach your goals? I get it – there is so much information out there it’s easy to get confused.

Having an understanding of macro nutrition is the most effective way to improving your relationship to food so that you can have more energy and no longer fear foods. I used to eat around 1200 calories and feared food. That all changed when I discovered macro nutrition. I share tons of content on social media – you can check me out on Instagram here or Facebook here and even Pinterest here. Or to find out more about who I am and what I do, I invite you check out my About Me section on my website.

On that note, I wanted to share my favorite, best tasting, macro friendly protein bar. And I’ve tried a lot of different protein bars. Introducing the G2G protein bar!

Why I love these macro friendly G2G protein bars:

  • They make a great meal replacement if I need to grab a quick breakfast or lunch on the go
  • They make a great option for those who struggle eating enough as they can quickly add calories without a lot of volume
  • No preservatives
  • No awful aftertaste
  • 4g fiber and 18g protein
  • Gluten free
  • Soy free
  • Made with fresh ingredients. These bars are shelf stable for a month, but I like to keep mine in the fridge and the back stock in the freezer.
  • Oh…and did I say they taste like an unbaked cookie?

These bars are well balanced between between the macros; carbs (25g), fats (14g) and protein (18g), 4g fiber and low sugar; making them a great macro friendly option.

How I eat the best tasting macro friendly protein bars:

  • As a snack  (I will take the bar out of the fridge and let rest for 5 min to soften up or throw them in the microwave for 30-40 seconds if I am in a rush)
  • Grab and go option for breakfast and/or lunch
  • Chopped and added to a greek yogurt bowl
  • Eat 1/2 to fuel my lift sesh at the gym

My favorite G2G protein bar flavors:

  • Coconut chocolate peanut butter
  • Peanut butter chocolate chip
  • Almond oatmeal cookie
  • Peanut butter and jelly
