As a busy mom, it’s easy to put your own nutrition on the back burner. Understanding macro nutrition is the gateway to improving your relationship to food so that you can look and feel vibrant with more energy! Macro nutrition focuses on the balance of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats in your diet.

For years I had restricted myself.  I didn’t realize how bad I was under nourished and how awful my relationship to food was.  I’d use food as a reward for a job well done or punishment where I’d skip meals if I felt I over indulged.  I was the busy mom who’d make the fancy birthday cakes for her kids but never get to enjoy a piece because I thought it was bad.  And if I did have a piece I’d do extra cardio or skip a meal to “make up” for it.  Sound familiar?  I look back and wonder what impact I had on my kids back then.

I can’t change the past but I can definitely pave the way to a bright vibrant future.  One where I don’t tire out playing with my kids. One where my kids see me enjoy foods with abundance as opposed to restriction.
